Felines adopted from Silver Dragon Pets may not be de-clawed unless absolutely medically
necessary. If this comes up, a letter explaining the medical condition must be submitted to
Silver Dragon Pets immediately to remain on file.
Adopter grants permission for a representative of Silver Dragon Pets to visit the home at
any time to check on the wellbeing of this pet. Adopter further agrees that Silver Dragon
Pets may repossess this pet upon any evidence of neglect and/or abuse, or any breach of
any part of this agreement, at no expense to Silver Dragon Pets, and with no refund of any
monies. If Silver Dragon Pets does ask for this pet to be returned, adopter agrees to do so
within 24 hours.
I further agree that this pet shall reside in my home and shall not be allowed to roam free.
I agree that this pet will not be left outside when I am not at home, and will wear an ID
tag and rabies tag at all times. I agree to license this pet according to any local ordinances.
The microchip will remain registered back to the rescue, and I will be contacted via the
telephone number on file should this pet ever be picked up by animal control. I agree to
notify Silver Dragon Pets of any address or telephone changes so that I can be contacted
in the future if this pet becomes lost. I agree to contact the rescue immediately if this
animal becomes lost or stolen and to make every effort to locate this pet.
I understand that no one can predict what medical or temperamental problems a pet may
have in his/her lifetime. Silver Dragon Pets can not guarantee anything other than the
current health and temperament of this pet. Unless otherwise noted, this pet has been
examined by a licensed veterinarian and has been deemed healthy. Silver Dragon Pets is
hereby absolved from any liability for any future medical costs incurred.
I hereby understand and agree that Silver Dragon Pets makes no representations or
warranties, expressed or implied, about the above mentioned pet's temperament and is
hereby absolved from any liability for future damages or injuries caused by said pet. I also
understand and agree that the rescue gives no guarantees, expressed or implied, of the
suitability of the pet to me and/or my family.
Should Silver Dragon Pets need to seek legal action against me for any violations of this
agreement, I hereby agree that I will assume any and all attorney costs, court fees, and
any other legal fees incurred in the process of enforcing this contract and repossessing
this pet. All legal proceedings will be made through Crow Wing County in Minnesota.
I certify that all statements made by me on this adoption agreement are true and correct. I
agree that Silver Dragon Pets has the right to confiscate the above described animal in the
event that any statements made by me are found to be false and/or if my check for the
adoption fee is returned for insufficient funds.
